Advanced and A Grade Teams Selection 2025

Connells Point Rovers is organising and implementing an Advanced and A grade teams selection process for the 2025 season.

 

Our purpose is to provide opportunities for boys and girls of all abilities to enjoy football with teammates and opposition at a similar level. As such, it is appropriate that we provide players with advanced abilities and dedication the opportunity to trial for teams that play at the highest level of our competition in Advance or A grade.

 

The selection process will be conducted over 3 training sessions and a trial game.

 

Team selection is by individual player, based on ability and not friendship groups.

 

Participation in an Advanced or A grade team in 2024 does not guarantee selection in 2025.

Dates for selection sessions and trial games are:

These dates may change due to unforeseen circumstances

 

· Session 1 either Thursday 7 or 14 November

· Session 2 either Thursday 6 or 13 February

· Trial Games Saturday 15 February

· Session 3 either Thursday 20 or 27 February (if needed)
 

A train-on squad will be selected for each year group after the first session.

 

Selection in the train-on squad does not guarantee selection in the final team.
