SETUP DUTIES

Dear CPRFC member, in an effort to spread the workload among all members, if your team is listed in the grid below please make sure your team takes care of the setup and pack up duties.

To find out if your team is on set up or pack up duties please enter your team code into the search bar or browse the list below, then click on the relevant field to find out what needs to be done.

ROSTER

POULTON 1
sETUP

  • Set up duties: All the set-up gear is now stored the referees’ room.
     

  • Whenever possible the necessary gear including both goal nets, six flags, boundary rope, pigtail posts and goal stakes will be loaded onto the ‘set up’ trolley for the team to take to Poulton 1

  • If for some reason items are not loaded onto the trolley, all gear can be easily located within the Referees room.

  • Lift and carry the goals to their correct positions at the end of the field, goals are not to be dragged – they must be carried to avoid any possible damage

  • Install the 4 corner posts at each corner of the field and 2 posts on the halfway line, 1.5m from the sideline.

  • Rope off entire sideline and behind goals as far as possible using rope reels and pigtail posts.

  • Take 2 aluminium benches to technical areas and place one each side of the halfway line in the technical areas.

  • Referees room door must remain open to allow easy access to the defibrillator, injury ice packs kept in fridge freezer and medical kit that will soon be placed there also.

POULTON 1
PACK UP

  • Remove all flags, nets, and pegs  

  • rewind all ropes on reels and collect pigtail posts

  • Place all items back on the trolley and take everything to the referees room at the end of the new block

  • General tidy up of field and especially your technical areas - pick up and bin any rubbish left after days play - bottles, chip packets, electrical tape etc.

  • Goals at Poulton 1 must be carried and not dragged back to the storage area against permanent benches on the western side of the ground.

  • If any clips fall away from the nets, please reattach these to the nets for use next time, please do not leave clips on the ground.
     
    Generally Poulton 1 games will not be the last game as Poulton 2 has lights. If however you are last game and is obvious no game on Poulton 2. Please close the referees room door and please close any of the change room doors that are still open.

POULTON 1

POULTON 2
sETUP

  • Poulton 2 (Synthetic Full Field)
     

  •  Set up duties: All the set-up gear is now stored in the referees’ room.
     

  • Required gear is two larger nets and 6 flags with the plastic circular bases.
     

  • Install nets. (Often when setting up on Saturday or Sunday, nets may already be up from previous day)
     

  • ​​Referees room door must remain open to allow easy access to the defibrillator, injury ice packs kept in fridge freezer and medical kit that will soon be placed there also.

POULTON 2
PACK UP

  • General tidy up of field and especially your technical areas - pick up and bin any rubbish left after days play - bottles, chip packets, electrical tape etc. Please remove the rubbish bags from the several black bins (the bins should have another bag underneath ready to be placed fresh into the bin) tie the bag up and place near the other rubbish at the end of the block near the home change room, near the electrical box. Place empty rubbish bins in the referees’ room.
     

  • For Saturday pack up, only pack flags away and place in the referee’s room.

  • For Sunday pack up, please now leave nets up on goals as there are catch up games on Monday nights, please only pack away flags, please place in the referees’ room.  

  • The last team playing on Poulton 2 please also close all doors to referee and BOTH change rooms.  

POUILTON 2

U6-U7 ssf sETUP & pack up

​Gear for all formats relating to small sided soccer such as goals, nets and cones will be left out near the Midi fields for the relevant sides to then use in order to set up their respective games
 

  • The goals for SSF ie U6 and U7 are the pop up style goals that require no nets, there are a maximum of 4 SSF allocated to the midi field

  • After the last U6/7 game, goals and cones must be put away and placed carefully in order for the Mini field to be used

U8-U9 mini
sETUP & pack up

Gear for all formats relating to small sided soccer such as goals, nets and cones will be left out near the Midi fields for the relevant sides to then use in order to set up their respective games

  • For U8 and U9’s there are four goals and two fields in use, the fields are marked out by the permanent lines on the synthetic field, the four nets will be left out for teams to install prior to their game

  • After the last game on the Mini field the nets must be removed from the 4 goals and placed away in the appropriately marked container in the storeroom.

U10 U11 U12 MINI
sETUP & pack up

Gear for all formats relating to small sided soccer such as goals, nets and cones will be left out near the Midi fields for the relevant sides to then use in order to set up their respective games​

  • ​For U10, U11 and U12’s the Midi field is in use. There are two goals in use, the two nets will be left out for teams to install prior to their game

  • After the last game on the Midi the 2 nets must be removed and placed away in the appropriately marked container in the storeroom

  • If storeroom is closed please place nets in the refs room.
